This site does not use cookies. It stores only two technical items in your browser: that you have already accessed the gallery and, while the tab is open, the order in which you see the photos. It uses no visitor statistics, no advertising pixels and no social media content. That is why there is no cookie banner.

It only records that access took place and the date. It does not contain your name or email.
If you browse in private mode, your browser deletes it when you close the window.
Why there is no banner
Italian law requires consent before storing or reading information on your device, with one exception: when it is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for (Art. 122(1), Italian Privacy Code, Legislative Decree 196/2003, implementing Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive). Remembering your access to the gallery falls under this exception.
For tools of this kind, the Italian data protection authority (Garante) does not require a banner: informing you is enough, as we do here (Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools, 10 June 2021).
What we don't use
- Visitor statistics (for example Google Analytics).
- Advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads and similar).
- Videos, maps or posts embedded from other sites.
- Fonts downloaded from external services.
Pages and photos are delivered by Cloudflare, which hosts the site. Like any server, Cloudflare sees your IP address: details are in the privacy policy.
When we publish the site we check that it sets no cookies.
If Cloudflare were to add a technical security cookie (for example __cf_bm, which lasts 30
minutes and helps tell people apart from automated programs), we will list it here. It is a
necessary tool and does not require consent.
If you move on to samichay.eu
foto.samichay.eu is separate from samichay.eu, the site for tickets and the shop. If you follow a link to samichay.eu, that site's rules apply.
How to delete stored data
You can delete this site's data from your browser settings, under cookies and site data (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have this option). Next time, the site will ask for your name and email again.
Changes
If we ever add tools that require consent (statistics, pixels), we will add a banner before switching them on and update this page.
